About Syndication

Selection Matters dot com, like many websites, offers a RSS feed of its content. RSS stands for "really simple syndication" and it means that you can use it to read the site's content through other means besides visiting it in your web browser. For example, you can use programs called "RSS Readers," you can use the RSS reading capabilities built into some web browsers, or you can do like I do and use a web-based RSS reading service like Bloglines.com.

A lot of people like to use RSS readers because they can read a whole gaggle of websites in one place without having to browse to them all. It's a convenience thing. That's the gist of it, and you can see Wikipedia's RSS entry for more details if you want them.

Unlike many other sites with RSS syndication feeds, Selection Matters dot com offers ALL its content (except reader comments) in the feed, not just headlines or the first few hundred characters. I'm not going to say this won't change in the future, but at this point I'm more interested in getting people to read the content than actually visiting the site.

The available RSS feeds are listed below. They'll look all goofy if you click through to them in a standard web browser, but once you have a RSS reader set up just copy the URL from the links below to add this website.
